The General Services Administration has announced its plan to issue a contract for the overhaul of the Recovery.gov website, which tracks how the government’s stimulus plan money is spent.
The contract for the overhaul of the website will be restricted to companies on the GSA’s ALLIANT contract.
The notice stated that the agency wants to find “an innovative, award winning, Web-design and implementation firm with expertise on user-focused, data-driven Web designs to perform complete redesign, implementation, and operation of the Recovery.gov version 2.0 Web site…Design services will include visual design, user interface design, information architecture, design engineering, project management, and all expertise required to deliver a Web site with interactive data visualization, and Web application-level functionality."
The new updated site will need to be ready by Oct 10th when companies who receive stimulus money must file their reports.
